A place where stories unfold

Niël Coetzee’s exceptional writing mentorship at Paulet House

What an exceptional writing mentorship at Paulet House with Tina Kruger and Carla-Marie Myburgh. They helped to hone our skills as upcoming screenplay writers and series creators.

I won’t forget the memories and new supportive friends I made throughout the two-week mentorship – Sindisa Masiza, Gita Fourie, Palesa Nomanzi Shongwe, Ross Jantjies, Gilbert van Zyl, Siena Smith, Nash van Zyl and our mentors.

A much-needed experience to confirm that my story concepts and writing is up to par with the local productions. Also just being glad to be seen by the commissioning editors’ group, because of my long PowerPoint slides, tenacious fury and being way too much detail orientated when it comes to writing and sending in proposals to the submission portal.
