The Kommadagga Workshop was a wonderful experience. The memories made there are ones I will truly cherish forever.
One of the goals I had set for the writing residency was to expand my literary family, and that was done so effortlessly. The other residents I had the pleasure of sharing the Paulet House space with have become such an integral part of my life. We speak quite regularly and share our goals and passions, even beyond writing.
There are many moments I deem as my favourite: The inside jokes we made throughout the stay, along with the wonderful trips to the museum, the mill and the waterfall hike.
Gilbert and Theo were nothing short of amazing. Their strong organisational acumen and their selflessness really made the whole experience even more worthwhile.
You don’t just get time to write, you get to reconnect with yourself and others. You get to garner moments and inspiration that will last you a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone who is part of the JGF team. You have helped reignite the fire in so many writers.
