The residency programmes of the Jakes Gerwel Foundation are presented at our writers’ house, Paulet House, in Somerset East in the Eastern Cape.
Each programme has a separate application process. If your application is accepted, the following costs will be covered:
• your travel costs to and from Somerset East
• your accommodation, which includes three meals a day, in Paulet House
• the fees for the skilled mentors presenting your programme.
Note that you will not be accepted for more than one programme in any one year. To apply for any of the programmes below, or to get involved in a project, please contact Theo Kemp at theo@jgf.org.za.
