The Jakes Gerwel Foundation is proud to announce the launch of The Hive. This new platform will serve as a hub for our writers, as well as offer information about local and international opportunities available to writers in South Africa, all in one place.
If you are looking for eager worker bees (aka talented writers) to take part in a new project or speak at an event, look no further. Starting at a central photo gallery, you can view all our writers and access their biographies and contact details.
If you are foraging for writing opportunities, you will find them listed according to submission and application deadlines, as well as organised in the following categories: competitions; bursaries and grants; fellowships; literary prizes; publications; residencies; and workshops and seminars.
