That afternoon around the lunch table at Paulet House, our writers group buzzed with a singular energy, an energy which asked, “How?” Different ideas were thrown in and out of the conversation. We decided to split the group of learners into smaller groups, so that we could do different activities about storytelling, journalling, writing poetry, and character making. Danie suggested that we also give the students an opportunity to ask some questions about our experiences as writers. We wanted our visit to be impactful, interactive, fun.
