NATi Jong Sterre/Rising Stars Project for Upcoming Playwrights
NATi, the Jakes Gerwel Foundation, Suidoosterfees and Artscape invest in the development of the talents of upcoming playwrights though this project. After an intensive script-writing programme at Paulet House, the young playwrights’ work will be developed further to be premiered at the Suidoosterfees. While the Foundation covers the costs of the playwrights’ residency at Paulet House, the Suidoosterfees carries, with the support of NATi, the production fees to stage the theatre pieces. In turn, Artscape supports the theatremakers with repetition venues, costumes and technical help. The playwrights will also get the opportunity to stage extracts from their plays at the text market of the presenter of the KKNK, Kunste Onbeperk.
