Trauma Oë

Brein uittie skedel,

derms innie hand,

longe hap na lug,

baby hang tussen boude,

gat deurie been,

bloed sypel na die grond,

lewe verdwyn uit die oë.

Ma snik, pa kners,

broers vannie gang

plan revenge hit,

SAPS sak sy kop,

medic ken die scenes,

fireman in disbelief,

dink patient sallit maak.

Oë mis niks,

Wil eintlik niks sien,

Oë sien te veel,

Oë kreun van pyn,

Oë treur na binne,

want Oë wag vir next view.
